London Calling Part 1

London was such an amazing first stop on our European adventure. My 10 friends and I stayed in a lovely 3 story Air B&B apartment in the suburb of Islington, which was perfect due to the abundance of cute cafes and little boutiques (plus we were right next door to Aesop- their lip balm saved my dry lips!). We used our apartment as our base to explore London via double decker red buses and the tube. Some highlights from the first few days include seeing all the famous landmarks, fresh berries everywhere and of course shopping at Oxford Circus. There were all sorts of amazing fresh food and green juices via my new loves Pret a Manger- plus they had the best porridge ever (in my opinion anyway. Please open in Sydney!). Another highlight was the huge Topshop where I ate lunch and froyo and shopped up a storm! One thing I did discover was a lack of good coffee- that is until I stumbled across a little Australian cafe where I was majorly excited to order a flat white!

Daisy Dreaming

I'm officially back from Europe! Had the best month ever travelling through the U.K, France, Italy, Spain and Greece, seeing so many amazing sites, eating delicious foods and making so many memories with my best friends. Despite my iphone camera breaking on the first day in London (yes, the worst timing everrr), I  bought a new camera with straight-to-iphone bluetooth, which ended up being a great investment- I would recommend it to anyone travelling! The end result was over 4000 photos, so I will be uploading them all to this blog over the next couple of months. These photos were taken on the daisy lawns outside Westminster Abbey on my first day in London. My model babe Diana (and USA travel buddy) was in London for work, so she took us around to all the best sites and helped us work out the tube, which is 1000 times easier than Sydney public transport. After seeing all the essentials (Big Ben, London Bridge etc), we finished off the day with some Carnaby Road shopping and got well acquainted with H&M!

Saturday Night Essentials

I finallyyyy got my hands on one of these Zara clutches! I really wanted the white "STRESSED BUT WELL DRESSED" one, but in it's absence I am liking the bright yellow vibes of "HAVE FUN NON-STOP SUMMER". I am ignoring the fact that today marks the first day of winter (shhh). Though I also wore my One Teaspoon denim cutoffs today, so perhaps I really am in denial.

Enclosed in my new clutch are my 3 must-have beauty products for any night out, summer or otherwise:

1. Clinque Chubby Sticks
2. Mac lipstick in Rebel- their single best colour ever
3. Nars blush

Paris Vogue

Such a gorgeous editorial from the April edition of Vogue Paris. How much does it make you want to dress in all shade blue and frolic in the ocean? Even more so when your still working on your literature review at midnight and you have work the next day...
